A Tree Surgeon understands 'how' to prune/cut a tree, they study and practice for years to perfect their skill, continuously developing their competence in the method in efficiently removing and maintaining all trees.

An Arborist not only understands how to cut a tree, but also understands 'why' we cut a tree. This takes years of academics and study. Continuously updating their knowledge whilst working with industry organisations to keep up-to-date with the best practices and research to be able to truly deliver expert advice and information, for the best long-term success and maintenance of your trees.

Why use an Arborist?

Arborists specialize in the care of individual trees. They are knowledgeable about the needs of trees and are trained and equipped to provide proper care. Hiring an arborist is a decision that should not be taken lightly. Proper tree care is an investment that can lead to substantial returns. Well cared-for trees are attractive and can add considerable value to your property. Poorly maintained trees can be a significant liability, and an be very costly in the long run.

Pruning or removing trees, especially large trees, can be dangerous work. Tree work should be done only by those trained and equipped to work safely in trees.
