Unfortunately, some trees have to be removed. Reasons for this include the tree having structural problems (such as interior decay), disease, safety, or that it may be causing damage to adjacent structures.
Removal is not always the solution to some of these problems, so it may be wise to call a qualified arborist to get a professional opinion before making the commitment.
